International Maritime Heritage Award |

From time to time the Trust recognises nationally significant achievement in the cause of historic ship preservation with the award of its International Maritime Heritage medal. To the structure Bombay Castle, presented in Bombay to Admiral Mahvendra Singh, Chief of Naval Staff, under whose inspiring leadership as the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command major restoration and conservation work was done on the building's historic Bambay Castle Wall, by Captain Christopher Chamberlen of the World Ship Trust on 4th November, 2004.
